A new Art Form is emerging – visualization of music or digital syneasthesia! Kandinski is one of the most famous artists to interpret music. Today we have access to technology which, along with traditional art, can help to inspire a new perception of Music and Art.

I’d like to thank the Looking Sound Crew for organizing the amazing live musical painting event. The experience was unforgettable! All the finished paintings will be displayed at other events. This is the beginning of some fantastic experimentation and creativity.

MY BACKGROUND:
I spent a couple of years trying to develop synaesthesia-based animations. This gave me opportunity to work as Artist in Residence at Wellington College Berkshire. Looking into digital sculpting techniques and experimenting with painting helped me to create a new approach to designing sonic shapes.
After the Residency I had the opportunity of do an MA in 3D Digital Design at Huddersfield University. Final dissertation was titled “Visual Music, Synaesthesia and Harmonizing the Senses”.
Now I feel the time is right to take this emerging Art Form into the galleries and public performance spaces and eventually the IMAX! I’ll c u there!
